Hello community maybe someone can point me in the right direction, I've been spinning my wheels on this a bit too much.
I need a grid generator that preferably has grid healing capabilities, that is free, and will generate a grid in a format I can use in FUN3D AFLR3: .ugrid (preferred) FAST: .fgrid FieldView: .fvgrid VGRID: .cogsg FELISA: .gri, .fro Or that I can translate (.plot3d and maybe .msh which I haven't explored yet) I have the potential to bring in .stl, .iges, and native solidworks files. I have already tried the SolidMesh route and without the CAPRI library importing CAD models that need cleanup is a show stopper (stl and iges files import with errors and I have very little control over the CAD). The tool simply can't handle what I need it to do. I have experimented with tetgen a bit but I doesn't output in the format I need. I'm also wondering about gmsh or netgen? Thoughts? Thanks! |
