Dear Moham,
As you are using ANSYS, you may want to try to get help on the mesh in ANSYS meshing tools in the dedicated group. As you are posting in the general mesh generation forum, I understand you may want to look into other meshing tools to mesh this kind of geometry? In that case you could try a volume to surface mesher (like HEXPRESS™/Hybrid). Best regards, Colinda NUMECA Academic group. |

Which version of HEXPRESS/Hybrid are you using?
What is the problem exactly where you get stuck? Can you post a picture of the thin wall you wish to mesh? Is it an open or a closed thin wall? In which format are you saving the mesh? Did you read the section "THIN-WALL METHOD" in the documentation? Which part raises questions to you? Best regards, Colinda |

I use Hexpress/Hybrid v5.2. I posted a picture of my geometry. As you see there is a hanging internal wall to guide the flow and also several other baffles. Hexpress do not allow me to generate mesh due to some problems of domain such as existence of single edge that is only connected to a single surface (As the geometry exposed). Could you pls help me in this regard? Bests, Molaei |

HEXPRESS/Hybrid v5.2 is an old version that indeed will not allow you to mesh thin walls. I would recommend you contact your local sales representative for a more recent version.
