Hello,
For my bachelor thesis I am working at a flow analysis of a centrifugal compressor. I want to look at the incidence angle, so I will need the blade LE angle. The impeller geometry (3d, so it has a variable LE angle) is given by a Siemens NX model, which I cut off at my hub and shroud contours. I tried to get the angles following this tutorial, but the ImportCAD feature fails extracting profiles from the blade surface. Does anybody know another possibility or program, which can compute the LE metal angles with a *.prt/*.x_t file? The problem is, that I also don't know how I can extract profiles from NX, because the model is based on the surface and not generated using profiles. The mesh generation and also the simulation will be done with NUMECA software (Autogrid, Fine). Thank you, Marc |
