Generating a curvilinear mesh: how to connect the nodes?

Good afternoon everyone,
I am going to work on the modification of a curvilinear mesh and am blocking on the final step of its creation. According to what I could read about mesh generation using transfinite interpolation (that the code uses), the curvilinear mesh is built using a parametric space and adapts to the boundary of the real space. My current understanding is that I will discretise this parametric space with a Cartesian mesh, giving me the nodes in the parametric space. I then find the nodes in the real physical space using the formula of the transfinite interpolation (adapted to the boundary of the real space). My question is the following: how to connect the nodes in the physical space to actually plot the curvilinear mesh? Each node has to be connected to his neighbour (of the same direction), but what about the shape of this curve? Thank you for you help |
