Question How to read and write ".vtk" or ".msh" mesh file using fortran

Hi friends,

I'm a grad student, interested to do cfd using fortran code.I would like to know how i can read ASCII formats like ".msh",".vtk" mesh files ,using fortran.


supose if want to scan file and read the mesh file.i need node points fore my computations.

please help me if any useful links to study how to write my code to read such files.

else " which format will be suitable for readable by fortran and which also should be acceptable with any of post-processing packages like paraview,Vislt,techplot,opendx etc
