can someone help me with the blocking of this geometry as i want to create hexa mesh ( wind turbine enclosed in a shroud/duct ) i am new to icem and i want to create periodic mesh of this geometry so i used 120 degree (1/3 rd ) portion of geometry and started blocking but i am confused because it seems to be complex and is this the right way to use 1/3 rd of geometry and then do apply periodic boundary conditions and at which which location should i split block and tell me can i create unstructured tetra mesh at diffuser and hub and hybrid it with hexa mesh of blade or should i do hexa mesh for the whole geometry. Please check my geometry file, dropbox link given in description for tin file and my prj file of icem:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hfh2htwr9...GpMvqSPha?dl=0 so please can somebody help me with meshing of this geometry |
