Hi Forum
I am struggling to find out how can I export only the mesh entities when exporting a msh file from Gmsh and no geometric entites. For eg in order to create a circular hole in a surface in 2D, I have to provide 3 points and then create a circle. These points get exported as well during the mesh export although they are not part of the mesh. Is it possible to only export the true mesh entities? I am guessing even if I can skip the geometrical points, Gmsh won't renumber the nodes after skipping the geometrical points and start the counting from 1. Is there a way around this? Tia Ganesh |
