Hello,

I'm using ICEM to generate an unstructured mesh in a pipe (volume mesh using octree algorithm).

If I wanted to shorten the pipe would it be possible to delete the section of the volume and surface mesh that I didn't want then re-mesh a new mesh on the end of the pipe that has been truncated? So re-mesh the end volume elements so that they terminate flush with a new end surface and then create a surface mesh on this surface.

Obviously I could shorten the geometry and re-mesh the entire pipe, but if I wanted to keep the original mesh and just shorten it would it be possible to do so?

Thanks
