Hi
I'd like to get advise to generate mesh around space plane. I'm trying to calculate hypersonic flow field around the space plane (something like space shuttle) using unstructured mesh. To get accurate heat transfer rate, I thought it's better to cover the vow shock by prism layer. Because, tetra is not suitable for resolution of shock, and it's hard to adapt to shock.if it's covered by prism layer, it's easy to put shock surface between prism layer. Is generate prism layer from surface until vow shock good idea? or could you give me other method for unstructure mesh? Actually, it was impossible to extrude surface mesh until vow shock when I used my Laboratory's old Gridgen and Pointwise. so, I'm thiking to make program by myself using Boundary integral equation. thank you |
