Hi folks,
I'm currently trying to do a CFD analysis on a ship hull with FreSCo+ with a mesh done in Hexpress. I'm new to Hexpress and am trying to refine the mesh in the Kelvin angle. I could do it by box refinement, but currently I'm trying out the option do do an internal surface and to refine by that. My question now is: how do I create a triangular surface in Hexpress? (to I really struggled to create a rectangular one (which I wanted to slice by a line dividing it in two triangles) but if I try to manipulate this rectangle my using "domian manipulation" nad then the "split faces" button, hexpress crashes for no reason... Any advice on a) creating a triangular surface or b) splitting a surface or domain in two by using a line is very much appreciated! Edit: I managed to cut a surface which was included in the .STP file which I imported, but not the internal surfaces which I created in Hexpress. Last edited by Knigge46; July 2, 2014 at 10:22.
