Hi, I'm working on a complex shape and i need to generate a 3D Mesh of this element, that is a cylinder with some cuts inside. I used the software Salome to create this geometry, but when I try to generate the 3D Mesh of this element I only can generate it with a too high dimention of cells. The algorithm I used are:
3D: Tetrahedron (Netgen) --> Hypothesis:Max element volume 8 2D: Triangle (Mefisto) --> Hypothesis:Max element area 8 1D: Wire discretisation --> Hypothesis:Local length 3 But these dimentions are still too big for my mesh. When i try to set smaller values Salome gives an error and generates the Mesh only on the surfaces. The error is: Exception in netgen::OCCGenerateMesh() at Volume meshing I would need to set local length = 2 or =1 Can anybody help me with this? I attached the file with my geometry here! Thank you so much in advance! Mary |
