Hello guys.
I'm sorry, i know this is a silly question, but i'm very new to CFX and CFD in general. I need some advice in thes particular problem. I'm doing a project for my university and and have to simulate an air flow going perpendicular to a duct, cooling it. I've already created the duct and it's mesh. My problem is: i know that i have to create a domain much larger than the duct where i'll insert the boundaries (like the velocity of the wind in the outlet, for example). I can't figure out how to create this domain: do I create a perpendicular plane using the geometry function or do i do it using the CFX mesh tool? If so, how do I do it? (I'm trying to do something like the example in the attached picture) Again, sorry for the silly question and thank you for your attention Last edited by Fernando; April 18, 2013 at 10:56.
