Hi Friends,

I have one doubt about the model for scalar dissipation rate, in LES of non premixed combustion, there is one standard model for scalar dissipation rate given by Girimajai and Zhou (it is gradient model), one more model is proposed by Jimenez etal, this models is an extension of RANS equal scale (mechanical scale = turbulence scales) model to LES, my doubt here is there is one more non-equal scale model in RANS, is it meaningfull of extend the same to LES, like what Jimenez did in equal scale model.
