Hi,

does anyone have any idea on how to convert an ABAQUS mesh file into FLUENT? many thanks in advance

I know ICEM CFD can read an Abaqus mesh - then you could write it back out for Fluent.

I think ICEM CFD can only export to ABAQUS but it does not thave the important. http://www.ansys.com/assets/brochure...olution-10.pdf

please let me know if u are able to import into abaqus thanks

I know for a fact that ICEM CFD can import Abaqus mesh files (as I currently use ICEM CFD and can see it under File - Import Mesh - From Abaqus).

think it should be the ICEM ver that i have then. anychance u can help me covert a 1632 abaqus model into fluent?! sorry im kinda desperate.

I'm really not allowed to do that. You'll need to go through technical support, I guess.

What version of ICEM do you have?
