hi, guys.
i'm running RKE flow over a cyl with Re=10k, St=0.2. steady run encountered fluctuations, whats new? what is odd, is that turning to transient killed all the instability. have to admit that the mesh is quite coarse. i understand that coarse mesh could kill the instability by itself and make steady run really steady, but it did not. the damping actually occurred @ transient run. could you please explain me what is going on? |
