We are planning to move the entire CFD Online site to a new server tomorrow, Friday. I'm not sure how long the actual switch will take, but expect at least a few hours down-time if everything goes as expected. We are also changing IP number so it might take some time before that propagates too all DNS server around the world. In worst case CFD Online might be unavailable for you until early next week.
The new server will be a significant improvement, both in terms of performance and stability. This will give us plenty of space and spare performance to develop new services and handle our growing traffic volumes for several years to come. We will also take this opportunity to launch a completely new site layout. So check back next week to see how the *new* CFD Online will look. I hope that you will like it. |

Thanks, I'm glad that you like it. We're still working on improving the layout. Expect a new front-page soon and some other stuff to follow with that... The new layout for the books guide is also still not finished but we're working on that now.
If you have any suggestions on things that isn't working well or things that you think should be changed please let me know. Feedback and suggestions are always nice. By now the DNS updates should have propagated to most corners of the world so I think that most people are now reaching this new version of CFD Online. I hope most people will think that it is an improvement over the old layout. |
