Hi all! I want to set the tranpiration method which consist in setting normal wall velovity different from zero. I use Fluent and the only way I think is to set volumetric sources in a small cell-layer near the wall bc. I don't know how to calculate the source to be added. Do I have to add a mass source besided a momentum and energy ones? How do I calculate the momentum flux? Is this calculated only on the wall boundary or on the cell faces? Please help, I'm very confused. Luca

Hey!!
I am also working on a similar problem, the wall erosion problem in which the species are absorbed and generated at the wall. Were you able to find a way to apply the wall normal velocity? Or how did you solve the transpiration problem? Thanks!! |
