Default Multiple inlets problem

Hello, all

I was doing a gas-liquid modelling work in which multiple inlets were invloved. These inlets are actually bubble diffusers and I totally have 100 of them. Can someone give me some suggestions on how to handle these multiple inlets(in view of mesh, turbulence model, and boundary conditions so on)? Is it the same as to treat a single inlet?

The geometry of my problem is simple, just a tank with several baffles and liquid comes from one side flow out other side. The gas is input from the bottom before first baffle.

Thanks for your inputs!

Best regards!

Jeff

A complicated problem anyhow. Accurate modeling is to adopt some 20 cells for the vross-section of each outlet, then the total would be 2000 cells or so, which seems not so difficult to handle. A simplification is to take each outlet as a source that injets a certain mass and also momentum into the computational domain.
