hello,
i would like to verify something: for a FVM(3D), is del(p)/del(x) same as (after integrating & approx) [summation of faces(p(face) * nx * area]/Vol where p(face) is the interpolated pressure at face nx = outward unit normal vector I've got this derivation for cartisian coordinates, & i'm wondering if it can be applied to structured grids as well. hope someone can advise. Thanks |

or put it simply,
I need to evaluate u(*)=u+ (delta_t)*[del(p)/del(x)] in a structured grid. For a FVM cell, how should I evaluate del(p)/del(x)? Thanks! |
