Hi everyone,

For my third year project I have been told to do a CFD validation study for circular pipe flow. I have to consider both with and without orifice plate. What I want to ask is what information can I get from the CFD simulation. I was thinking about talking about discharge coefficient, pressure loss coefficient, separation lengths and reattachment length. I would also be grateful if anyone here knows of any books or journals that have done experiments so that I can compare results to.

Thank you for any replies.
