siw will become famous soon enough
Hi,

Just starting out a PhD in CFD porous media flows (air filtration systems) and just looked at the CFD-Online porous media books (http://www.cfd-online.com/Books/brow...category_id=41) and at amazon.co.uk. Since they are very expensive I'll be using inter-librarie loans to get some rather than buying a bunch of them.

There are so many books on the subject so can anyone recommend which ones are the best to start with.

Thanks

mettler is on a distinguished road
any book by Stephen Whitaker is a hit. And, he is very good about answering emails. His books are math-heavy, but there is some good stuff in them.
