Hi,

I'm looking for a CFD code (commercial or free) able to simulate a free surface flow (air and water) through a region including a porous media. Thanks a lot for any hint.

Markus

Even Fluent is able to do it, but if you want to use the VOF multiphase model together with the porous jump boundary condition (a surface in 3d or a line in 2d) you need some hints...

However a classic porous media fluid condition is also available.

Edi.
