Default Algebraic Turbulence Model for 3D flow

Hello,

I am looking for the simple algebraic turbulence model, which also can be applied for 3D recirculating flows, not only boundary-layer oriented problems. Can anybody suggest literature source on this term (I think it is about late 70s - early 80s).

Thanks in advance,

Dmitriy
