Dear all:

I am trying to convert a tank sloshing in paraFoam to a movie. I save the jpg files w/o any problems and as specified in the OpenFOAM tutorial (page U-169, version 2.0, 16th June 2011). However when try to convert at the command line using ImageMagick:

..../OpenFOAM/musa-2.0.1/run/tutorials/multiphase/interDyMFoam/ras/sloshingTank2D$ convert tank01*jpg tank-movie.mpg

ImageMagick runs for a while then gives the following error:

convert: delegate failed `"ffmpeg" -v -1 -mbd rd -flags +4mv+aic -trellis 2 -cmp 2 -subcmp 2 -g 300 -pass 1/2 -i "%M%%d.jpg" "%u.%m" 2> "%Z"' @ error/delegate.c/InvokeDelegate/1061.

Can anyone tell me how to interpret this error message, or how to get the ImageMagick conversion to work?

Thanks
