we can use tecplot for the data visualizaition ,but does the tecplot have the linux version. thank you very much

There is a free software from INRIA called VIGIE for data visulaisation and has downloadable versions for LINUX, UNIX and SOLARIS. It is a good software atleast for 2D ( cannot be used for 3D as far as I know ) though Tecplot is a superior software on many counts. But for those in a desperate need of free visulaisation software, I would recommend VIGIE .

I'm using gmv (http://www-xdiv.lanl.gov/XCM/gmv/GMVHome.html). It is easy to install and to use.
