Roe Scheme is talked about in computational gas dynamics by lanet and also in computational fluid mechanics by Anderson.

(yes I know the original post was 9 years ago, but this information is for other people with questions about Roe's scheme, and/or for the OP if he/she is still looking - hopefully not though!
