Hi,

I am trying to write a code for an unsteady flow problem of a 1D fluid piston acting on a spring. I can't decide on my boundary and initial conditions. I've set my inlet velocity at all times to 0.1m/s so if v(x,t) , I've set v(0,t) = 0.1m/s. I'm not sure at all on how to set the rest of the boundary conditions. I noticed that to be able to solve my equations I need the initial velocity at all x's. Can I do that? Also for boundary conditions can I decide on something like v(0,t) = v(1,t)?

I really appreciate anybody's help as soon as possible.
