Hello,
I'm am currently trying to simulate a hot free jet of air in 2D axis-symetric using ANSYS Fluent. The speed is around 50m/s and the hole radius 5mm. Temperature of the jet is 523K and ambiant air is 333K. I have done quite a few simulations testing the influence of a change in the solver, mesh, compressibility of the flow, etc, and though the results aren't abberant there are always quantitative differences in the velocity and temperature profiles (most disturbing being mesh dependency). Which physical and numerical setup best simulates this case? Thanks, Maxime |
