jyothishkumar is on a distinguished road
Hi,

Can anyone help me in sorting out the following problem:

I have written a navier stokes solver for laminar and turbulent flow (for 2d channel). With turbulent flow my centreline velocity is increasing upto the centre section of the duct and then it decreases towards the exit. My pressure value from inlet towards the exit is continuously decreasing.
It is clearly explained in the file attached herewith. Please download the document to see the plot for the u velocity at the exit section and at the middle section.

I am using the standard wall function (equilibrium wall function) for the near node (node near to the wall).

many thanks

jyothish
