To the advancement of our CFD knowledge today, I was wondering if we are now able to model the scenario of rain drops that fall into a container and eventually accumulate within it.

So far as I am concern, we can either only model rain drops fall using Lagrangian tracking and VOF for two phase flow in a container.

Can someone please shed some lights here.
Many thanks.

Search windDrivenRainFoam and you can find the source code... good luck if you can get it to work.

Our attempt failed.
