awk script question

awk script question

Hello.

I have a question regarding awk.I want to write an awk script which uses the values of field

(of a given record) in one file to decide the value of record in another file. I do not know how to

write a script which uses data manipulation of more than one file. Can you give me a an

example or an outline for such a script
