Hello every one
Iwas working as an Structural engineer,recently i was told to start working on CFD ,I know Fluid mechanics ,but iam not aware of any CFD softwares or some basic concepts required for doing CFD analysis.Can any one help me by giving some links where i can find the necessary things to learn basics of CFD and ways to do different kinds of analyis Thank you regards Pradeep |

Which CFD package is being used by your company? There are many (costly) commercial packages available as on today namey Fluent, STAR-CD, GT-Power, Fire, Flo++, ICEM CFD, Icepack, CFX, etc.
I do not think there is any similarity between softwares used in structural analysis and those being used in CFD analysis? |
