Floating point error

I have a problem in converge the solution. It run for about 170 time steps and then indicate "Floating point error, invalid number". I have tried with different input and it still happen. Can any of you have any ideas where should be gone wrong?

What's the problem you are simulating ? which code ? have you got the source code ? Have you examined all the fields after the error ?

One possibility is your solution has become unstable. You could try smaller time steps.

I am simulate the 2D tank with inlet and outlet. There is an baffle close to inlet. With constant inlet velocity. Moreover, I want to patch a top part of tank is air. What code do you mean about??
