export 2d model from solidworks to gambit

hi everyone
i want to make a 2d model in gambit , and then define axisymetric characteristics on it so gett the 3d model. but because of hardness in gambit i choose solidworks, is there anybody who knows how can i import a 2d model of solidworks to gambit? is there any possibilities that i get messhed model in solidworks and get it to gambit ? i have not catia or pro/engineer i just have solidworks 2009 please help me in urgent thanking you inj advance |

you can save as file like IGES,STEP format then import it on GAMBIT. it will open on GAMBIT. |

there used to be a add-on that you could download from either SW or Fluent's site that helped with the importing. But, I have always found it easier to import a 3-d model from SW and then erase lines to make it a 2d model in fluent.
