Drastic change in properties across a region

Across a region the properties change drastically. How can I model It ? and whether the mesh size plays any role across that region...?

In principle, yes. In practice, it depends upon the software you are using.
As an example, temperature dependent material properties is a common/required feature for CFD codes handling combustion problems. |
