Hello,
I am new to this CFD online.....I will get straight to my point.. First of all a brief Intro - I have done my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. During my 6th semester..I started taking intrest in Aerodynamics... I completed my bachelors in 2008....nd was into job within a month. Worked in ANSA/Hypermesh/Nastran for NVH modelling and analysis for Powertrain Components(By the way I work for a major French Automobile Company in India). Right now I am into Powertrain CFD....for flow calculation..using StarCD Pro AMM..its been 11 months I want to do Masters & PHD in Aerospace engineering(Because of the sole reason that I want to gain knowledge in Aerodynamics,Experimental CFD,Fluid Dynamics)....Basically I want to learn as much as I can on Aerodynamics...Race Car Aerodynamics to be specific. I have short listed some of the U.S universities..based on - 1. Tution fees(coz of budget constraint) 2.Research areas and facilities available...as my primary objective is to learn Aerodynamics,Experimental CFD,Fluid Dynamics 3.Courses of studies and Elective available. But still i have concerns over my short listed Universities. I want to get some info. regarding any other Universities basically from Europe where I can pursue my masters and PHD based on my above mentioned 3 criterias of selection. And on top of that..I wld like to no my chances to get a good scholarship and a good university....or what steps shld i take to achieve my objective. Please help me out with this..Thank You in Advance..... |

Hi,
you didn't mentioned about your academics. According to my experience, In Europe, Germany is best for Aerodynamics provided if you know German language. UK is also best provided if you get admission in top universities. Getting of admission in good universities is not easy unless you have very good accads. |

Pritish why have you decide to post exactly the same thing in at least 3 threads now, tis pretty annoying, you even dragged up a thread from 12 years ago!!!
Post your query in one place and wait for a response rather than spamming the forum |

Your join date is april 2010 ... so you are not so new ...
In France, their are some Engineer School in Toulouse rather for aeronautics (Supaero, Ensica, Enseeiht ...) or in other cities as well as some important labs (IMFT, CERFACS, CORIA, EM2C, LMFA, ...) depending on what you want to do |

I dont find ISAE as a good school. Just theory and a lot of difficulties to find a job after. (even it is difficult to find internships)… lots of homework as a kid… no practical at lessons..
Important: I think you may find this discussion helpful for your demand : http://aerospaceengineering.aero/for...ad608fd2f819a6 This is a forum where aerospace engineers reply your questions. They are telling about ISAE. Check it out |
