Hello,

I am trying to simulate an atmospheric boundary layer over some buidings with the standard k-epsilon model and with velocity, turbulent kinetic energy and it's dissipation rate profiles in the velocity entry.

The purpose is to insert porous media in order to induce pressure drops.

The simulations converge perfectly well in first order calculations (in second ordrer they do not converge).

When I insert porous jumps ( because more robust then porous media) the residulas oscillate around a certain value. For the epsilon residuals they oscillate around 0.18 and the rest are under 1*10^-3.

I tried to adapt the mesh by region around the porous media without any success.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

thanks in advance,
Samy
