!! Slug flow (need references)

I desperately need references on slug flow or gas piston flow. Ones with analitical solutions will be very appreciable.

I mean that there is a vetical tube filled with liquid and a big bubbles floats up. At present I've found analitycal solutions for very long bubble with no end. Maybe someone tried to look at the form of a confined bubble... I would like to see it.
