Can anyone please explain me how to do flow analysis for Bellmouth of Gas turbine engine test bed . I have the profile of the bellmouth. How the modelling should be done? My doubt is whether we can do analysis of bellmouth alone or i have to keep bellmouth with engine model in test cell and then i have to analysis.and what Boundary conditions should be given?. if u have any example bellmouth analysis ...please help me sir.. itsmerhythm@yahoo.com |

You should include the geometry upstream of the bellmouth.
I would suggest a massflow inlet and pressure outlet. The pressure value at the compressor entry is typically in the 85-90K Pa absolute. |
