Hi,
Looking for assistance in how to create a hemisphere (type= real) in ansys gambit. Also what are requisites to define a spherical face as porous in gambit and also accepted by fluent6. Actually when define so error received is as: "Inappropriate zone type (porous_jump) for one-sided face zone 4.Changing to wall."Can anybody please say how to rectify these errors and what do they imply Last edited by goswami.sandeepan; January 29, 2011 at 13:58. you can create with rotate a semicircle in gambit.it is very easy.for defining porous jump boundary you should have a boundary like interior(i.e. this boundary must have in both side cells zone) , so you should make a zone about this hemisphere and indisputable it has a fluid.
