I use Fluent to analyze flow in a flat duct. After calculation, I wanna get Nusselt Number.I have try to get the surface Nusselt number from the plot>xyplot, choose y axis function with wall fluxes, and get the surface Nusselt Number under wall fluxes, but is seems weird. The surface Nusselt Number always appears zero.
After I get the Nusselt Number, I wanna plot the Nusselt Number with X*(dimensionless axial coordinate for the thermal entrance region) How can I get this plot. Please tell me. Thx all. |

I think you might be getting zero because your two temperatures are equal, thus giving a zero 'h'. I would think that you can find the local convective coefficient and then calculate Nu...maybe
