Dear all,
has anyone have any experience in performing oil dripping heat transfer analysis please? what software do you recommend please? i've a heat transfer problem which i think may be unusual in CFD-heat transfer analysis. the problem description is like this: i've a number of coils arranged in a circular pattern about an axis and they are applied with current. so there'll be copper losses. to cool these coils, oil is used. Oil drips from the top of the coil arrangement at a defined inlet flowrate and inlet temperature, and drips onto the coils to cool. how could i model such a problem please? any comments/ideas will be very much appreciated. regards,
