Velocity fields -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Phiper New Member Philip Piper Join Date: Oct 2010 Posts: 12 Rep Power: 16	I'm writing an oil spill simulation and I'm wondering whether the wind velocity field would flow through itself like most would, or would remain rather static. Intuitively it seems like the winds remain pretty constant with prevailing winds and so forth, however it has to flow through itself to some extent right?
