I am working on a Dynamic mesh model of an Engine (3D). I am trying to simulate the flow inside an Engine cylinder (Along with Piston and valve movements) using Fluent. The problem is while loading the files, it gives me an error of 11 degenerated cells found in the model. I have around 300,000 cells and I am not understanding how to find these 11 degenerated cells.
The interesting thing is, Even though the mesh check failed, I tried to simulate the model and it runs for around 750 time steps!!! and then the dynamic mesh update fails. What steps can be followed in this case? Do I have to perform meshing on entire model again!!! |
