Dear Experts
As we are working on Underhood simulation. Our initial task is to reduce power consumption of fan module. As area of interest only at fan level So we have decide to go for only with front end region (i.e. Under-Bonnet region till the fire wall). So we are not considering complete Car body and its aerodynamics for simulation. The reason is to reduce computational domain and inturn reduce simulation time. But our concern is whether there would be any considerable change in pressure and velocity magnitudes at the entry of bumper grill by doing simulation with front end only than with complete car model. Please let me know whether anybody has done this kind of comparison, so that we can confidently judge the domain and conduct CFD simulation. Thank you with best regards suresh |
