Hi all,
How do you display the wing tip vortices? I am using ANSYS 12 workbench. fluent to run simulation. Set up: Homogeneous wing, symmetrical aerofoil, Angle of attack = 10degrees. inviscid. I heard about isosufaces, q-criterion, lambda2? i cannot find any tutorials relating to this problem. I hope someone can help me. if you would like details of the full set up and mesh, please ask. thanks Nathan |

You could look at the rotation of the flow: Nabla_x_V
The vector product of Nabla with Velocity |
