Dear All,

I am a new user CFD user and I am currently involved in a project to simulate a clay flow through an extruder (3-D). I am struck with choosing the suitable boundary conditions for this type of flow.

1) I would like to know whether Mass flow rate @ inlet and outflow @outlet will be suitable to work with such type of flow.

2) In my problem the density of the fluid increases from inlet, temperature of the fluid increases, pressure increases frm inlet to certain point in the geometry and decreases. So bit confused should i have to go with density based solver or pressure based solver.

If anybody have any idea on how to work with such kind of problem, it would be great to hear frm them.

Thks.....
