hello,

I have a problem trying to use the Monte Carlo radiation model, I am applying radiation conditions of tutorial-17 to other geometry, but this is not windows, but several laparas and monitors, surperficies to assign an isotropic flow radiation, the probel I generates the CFX-solver manager, where comiensa the first iteration, but when it comes to calculating the radiation generates the following error and stops the run

================================================== ====================
TIME STEP = 1 SIMULATION TIME = 3.0000E+01 CPU SECONDS = 4.061E+01
----------------------------------------------------------------------
COEFFICIENT LOOP ITERATION = 1 CPU SECONDS = 4.061E+01
----------------------------------------------------------------------
| Equation | Rate | RMS Res | Max Res | Linear Solution |
+----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+
| U-Mom | 0.00 | 6.6E-03 | 4.7E-01 | 1.3E-05 OK|
| V-Mom | 0.00 | 6.7E-03 | 4.7E-01 | 1.3E-05 OK|
| W-Mom | 0.00 | 3.4E-02 | 4.6E-01 | 1.1E-05 OK|
| P-Mass | 0.00 | 5.1E-06 | 4.2E-04 | 42.6 9.6E-02 OK|
+----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
| ERROR #666000005 has occurred in subroutine WALK. |
| Message: |
| |
| Too many iterations while using Monte Carlo. |
| This may possible be due to: |
| 1 - Highly reflective walls |
| 2 - Small absorption coefficient |
| 3 - Symmetry planes are too close, i.e. 2D geometry |
| 4 - Geometry specification error |
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

if someone could help me solve this problem would greatly appreciate it.

I'm facing the same problem. I'm using windows and this happens after the 08th interation. Im working on simulating a burner with different air-fuel ratios. Whit less air then in the stoichiometric case this error occurs.
If I use a more refined mesh this happens even with stoichiometric case and with cases that have more air than that. Using less processors this error occurs in case where it doesn't show up using more processors. Mybe if I had more processors or memory I could keep on with the simulations.
I would also really appreciate if someone could help us with this.

Thanks.
