I am looking to add a CFD package to analyze non-Newtonian fluid flow. I would also like to be able to analyze two fluids (one being molten polymer and the other air) at the same time. I currently design 3d models in AutoCAD, so meshing this into a CFD package would be a plus.
Could you please suggest CFD packages that will give the results I need using a PC at a reasonable cost. |

Advanced multi-purpose CFD code, CFD-ACE+ from CFD Research Corporation (http://www.cfdrc.com) is ideally suited to solve your problem. CFD-ACE+ is being used in plastic encapsulation problems that involves flow of polymer and air at the same time. There are other examples too, but this looked like the most relevant to your problem. CFD-ACE+ is also supprted for PCs (NT)
If you have any questions, please feel free to emil me at rmm@cfdrc.com. |
