hi there,
i've got a problem with meshing. I am trying to use EnGrid for creating boundary an volume meshes. for learning i startet with the EnGrid manual and wanted to mesh a throttle in a pipe... wanted to use the solver simpleFoam, which produced errors. so i was looking for the mesh with checkMesh... got the following errors: Mesh non-orthogonality Max: 93.5225 average: 18.458 *Number of severely non-orthogonal faces: 61. ***Number of non-orthogonality errors: 1. <<Writing 62 non-orthogonal faces to set nonOrthoFaces ***Error in face pyramids: 28 faces are incorrectly oriented. <<Writing 28 faces with incorrect orientation to set wrongOrientedFaces Max skewness = 3.21035 OK. can someone help me, how to debug this? thank you very much and by the way... which meshing tool might be the best for use with OpenFoam? important for me: - a good manual for learning - handling *.stl files - free software - for use with ubuntu |
